SMS serious vulnerability discovered in iPhone

Apple is working hard to fix a serious vulnerability that could allow a malicious hacker to perform actions without the owner terminallui iPhone.

The attack is initiated when an attacker sends the victim SMS, SMS phone cause infection or programs to run code without permission of the mobile operator or owner.

"Malicious code may contain commands to monitor phone GPS location, turning the microphone for recording phone conversations, or the filing of a network or botnet DDoS attacks"

The good news is that Charlie Miller, who discovered he worked at Apple and did not give too many details about the vulnerability waiting for a fix from the manufacturer. A smart step because if the exploit would have come to malicious people, millions of iPhone users could have compromised cell.

Apple is working to correct the situation and there is no reason to worry too much, but considering the increasing number of terminals iPhone, future attacks could multiply as more and more and will try to find security holes
