First Virus for iPhone

IPhone's popularity began to be taken seriously by hackers and shy at first, but increasingly more powerful, creating viruses for these next generation mobile terminals.

The first virus known as Ikee, active and infects only phones that were "broken" (ie those whose mechanisms of protection were removed, allowing installing any software on them).
This change phone picture wallpaper artist Rick Astley, and also displaying the message: "Ikee is never going to give you up"

The second virus is not widespread so far, it connects to a command and control center running at 92.61.38.16 in Lithuania.

This worm is really serious, because unlike the first iPhone virus will steal the information found on infected devices.

To protect against both viruses, make sure you do not "break" (jailbreak) your iPhone, and if you already did, change your root password.
