Smartphone applications cause a revolution in banking

"A silent revolution" in banking is driven by mobile applications and smart money management, a study shows.
According to a study commissioned by the British company monitors mobile banking, smartphone owners check their bank accounts three times more frequently than those using internet banking.
Alastair Lukies, CEO of Monitor, said: "There is a revolution because people are turning to mobile banking - saying control anytime, anywhere", as banks enrich its range of services. "

The study shows that users check their smartphones through mobile banking accounts on average 18-20 times per month, compared with an average of six times per month through online banking and more than once a month call center.
